Bormio - Le Prese - Fumero

Classifiable as an "unconventional" climb, but worthy of interest, the Fumero climb is a typical mountain road to the summer pastures.

Starting from Le Prese it climbs immediately in a challenging manner and then becomes more rideable once past the hamlet of Frontale. The climb is absolutely rewarding in the final hairpin bends with an imperious visit to the valley floor. The route ends, after passing through the village of Fumero, in the hamlet of Fontanaccia from where the driveway (MTB, Gravel) to the beautiful Rezzalo Valley begins.
