Route description:
This hike starts at the parking lot at Gasthof Talwirt. Here you will find local delicacies and you can buy home smoked bacon.
The trail first passes the Stockham farm, the old lake estate and finally runs through the meadows and floodplains of the valley head to "Hüttschlag/See" . Near the bridge over the stream there is a natural Kneipp facility with a public barbecue area on the right. Only a few meters after the Kneipp facility, a path branches off to the left to the Ötzlsee - the actual destination of the hike. Only about 250 meters further is the Ötzlhütte (not managed).
