Parking lot
Public parking lot on the B99 at the entrance to Felseralm. This parking lot is also the starting point of the hike.
Route description:
Walk behind the Felseralm at a fork in the road to the left through steep forest to a metal cross above the Wildsee lake (1 hr). Continue to the right to a fork and left uphill to the saddle west of the Glöcknerin (1 1/2 hrs). From here over the ridge to the nearby summit (15 min). Wonderful panorama of Dachstein, Niedere and Hohe Tauern.
Attention. - Especially at the summit, sturdy shoes and surefootedness are required.
