Details

The Stelvio Pass is the Cima Coppi par excellence, an icon in the world of cycling. Reachable from three sides, the 21-kilometer Valtellina route from Bormio is decidedly fascinating.

Traveling through the Braulio valley, the climb is impetuous, with a succession of hairpin bends (40 in total) in the unspoiled nature of the Stelvio National Park. Not infrequently during the climb it is easy to encounter exceptional fans such as marmots, chamois, ibex and the golden eagle.
