Gives an insight into the exciting world of mining in the Montafon during the 15th and 16th centuries.
The Montafon Mining Museum has existed since 1996 and is located together with the Silbertal municipal office in the old school building from the 1920s. The permanent exhibition focuses on Montafon mining in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. Silver, copper and iron were popular mining products in the Silbertal-Kristberg-Bartholomäberg area in the late Middle Ages. The museum is therefore an ideal addition to the Silver Trail and the Silver Play World on the Kristberg as well as the historic mine on the Bartholomäberg.
Admission prices: all-inclusive ticket for all four museums €9.00, the all-inclusive tickets are not time-limited (children and young people (up to 18 years) free)
