Obergassalm

The starting point of the hike is at the gondola mountain station. You get there with the Alpendorf gondola lift, which takes you from the valley up to approx. 1,600 hm in a short ride time.

The hiking trail stretches along the 2.1-kilometer high-altitude cross-country ski trail in a magnificent winter landscape and - weather permitting - with a fantastic mountain panorama. Since you walk on a groomed snow path, good footwear is recommended.

The winter hiking trail Obergassalm is a circular hike and you come back to the top station of the Alpendorf gondola. There, the Gondl Stubn restaurant with its cozy parlor and beautiful sun terrace in the middle of the ski area invites you to linger on the mountain.
