Reit foothills

Start / Finish: Pentagon (Bormio) / Church of S. Crocefisso (Bormio)

The trail traverses the entire Pedemontana, a path nestled in a beautiful larch forest that winds along the slope of the Reit, the mountain overlooking Bormio. The trail is characterized by fun ups and downs, sometimes challenging. Once you reach Valfurva, you return to Bormio by first reaching the Church of the Madonna del Sassello (15th century), a short walk from the old town center, then continuing to the Church of S. Crocefisso.
