Guided mountain tour to the Plattachsee lake

Our mountain hike begins at the Hintersee parking lot, where we immediately set off on a steadily ascending trail through the forest and then up through alpine pastureland.

Here we not only see and hear young cows and horses, but surely also marmots. We hike through the beautiful Nassfeld to the unique Plattachsee. Here we enjoy the snacks we brought along and the breathtaking natural scenery. Refreshed, we hike back to the parking lot and then on to Hintersee, with its unique reflections of the rock faces. Here we have the opportunity to stop at the Gamsblickhütte, where we can enjoy local delicacies before heading back to the parking lot.

Recommended gear:

Ankle-high hiking boots, backpack with plenty of drinks, snacks, sun and rain protection, telescoping hiking poles

Walking time: approx. 5 hours

Return trip: approx. 3:00 p.m.

Moderately difficult mountain hike, approx. 990 meters of elevation gain and 10.9 km
