Bormio - Bormio 2000

In 2004 it was inaugurated stage finish of the Giro d'Italia and allowed Damiano Cunego to win the final pink jersey. The climb starts from Bormio to Bormio 2000 where, in winter, the ski slopes are located. The road is characterized by wide hairpin bends in the forest and provides breathtaking views of the Magnifica Terra.

Professionals ride it on "rest" days between major climbs. For amateurs, however, it is a fairly challenging climb.
